Author Guidelines
Authors must carefully follow the journal’s submission guidelines. Manuscripts that do not comply with the required format will be returned for revision before entering the review process. The Editor-in-Chief reserves the right to reject or return submissions that do not meet these requirements.
Dignity International Journal of Health Sciences and Medicine publishes original research articles and review papers in various fields of health sciences, including but not limited to maternal and child health, health promotion, and epidemiology.
manuscript preparation
Manuscripts must be written in clear and proper English and must not have been previously published or submitted to another journal. All submissions should be made electronically through the journal’s online submission system.
format requirements
Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font (12 pt), single spacing, and A4 paper size. Margins must be set to 2.5 cm on the top, bottom, and right, and 3 cm on the left. Each paragraph should begin with an indentation.
The abstract must consist of 150–250 words and include 3–5 keywords. Abbreviations and references should be avoided in the abstract.
manuscript structure
The manuscript should be organized in the following order: title, abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, conclusion, acknowledgment (if applicable), and references.
title and author information
The title should be clear, concise, and informative, accurately reflecting the content of the study. Author names must be written in full without academic titles, along with complete institutional affiliations and the email address of the corresponding author.
abstract and keywords
The abstract should briefly present the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in a single paragraph. Keywords (3–5 terms) must be arranged alphabetically and represent the main topics of the manuscript.
main sections
Introduction
This section should describe the background, research objectives, relevant literature, and the novelty of the study.
Methods
Authors must clearly explain the study design, participants, procedures, and statistical analysis. Ethical approval must be stated for studies involving human or animal subjects.
Results
The findings should be presented clearly and may include tables or figures where appropriate.
Discussion
This section should interpret the findings, compare them with previous studies, and highlight their significance.
Conclusion
The conclusion should directly address the research objectives and be supported by the results.
references
References must follow the Vancouver citation style. Most references should be recent (within the last 10 years), and primary sources should be prioritized.
submission checklist
Before submission, authors must ensure that the manuscript has not been published or submitted elsewhere, the file format is acceptable (Word, RTF, etc.), and all references are complete and properly formatted.
