Author Guidelines
Community service manuscripts must be written in proper Indonesian or English and must not have been previously published or be under review in another journal. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the journal’s online submission system.
Formatting Guidelines
- Manuscripts must be prepared using Microsoft Word, Times New Roman font size 12 pt, single spacing, on A4 paper.
- Margins should be set as follows: top, bottom, and right 2.5 cm; left 3 cm.
- Each paragraph should begin with a first-line indentation.
- The abstract must consist of 150–250 words and include 3–5 keywords.
- The abstract must not contain abbreviations or citations.
Manuscript Structure
Community service manuscripts should be organized as follows:
- Title
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Methods
- Results and Discussion
- Conclusion
- Acknowledgements (if any)
- References
Title and Author Information
The title should be clear, concise, and reflect the community service activity conducted. Authors’ names should be written in full without academic titles, accompanied by institutional affiliations and the corresponding author’s email address.
Abstract and Keywords
The abstract should briefly present the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions in a single paragraph. Keywords should consist of 3–5 terms, arranged alphabetically, and reflect the main topic of the activity.
Main Sections
Introduction
This section should describe the background of the community issue, objectives of the activity, a brief literature review, and the urgency and benefits of the program.
Methods
This section explains in detail the target participants, location, time of implementation, methods or approaches used (e.g., education, training, mentoring), and the stages of the activity.
Results and Discussion
This section presents the outcomes of the activity, its impacts, and a discussion linking the results with theories or previous studies. Tables or figures may be included.
Conclusion
This section provides a summary of the results that address the objectives of the community service, along with recommendations if necessary.
References
References must be written using the Vancouver citation style. Most references should come from primary sources published within the last 10 years.
Submission Checklist
Authors must ensure that:
- The manuscript has not been published or submitted to another journal.
- The file format is appropriate (Word, RTF, etc.).
- The references are complete and follow the required citation style.
